IP Philly: A Live CLE Program in Partnership with Temple University Beasley School of Law

IP Philly, in partnership with Temple University – James E. Beasley School of Law and co-chaired by Barry Cohen and Nancy Rubner Frandsen of RCCB, is delighted to announce its first ever Intellectual Property Institute. This full day, in-person program is a “must-attend” event for any attorney who faces IP issues. The program will provide a comprehensive overview of recent trends, developments, and cutting-edge issues in today’s intellectual property practice. Earn 5 substantive credits and 1 ethics credit through this all-day CLE event (while enjoying breakfast and lunch with fellow attendees).

  • Federal District Judge John Murphy will moderate a panel of intellectual property lawyers addressing the past year’s most interesting and potentially influential patent law developments
  • Significant state and federal trade secret developments
  • Recent developments in copyright law, with an AI update
  • Updates on the latest trademark cases, including the Supreme Court’s 2023 decisions in Jack Daniel’s Properties, Inc. v. VIP Products LLC and Abitron Austria GmbH v. Hetronic International, Inc.
  • Ethical issues in IP: Year in Review
  • Ethical considerations in communications, using technology and issues involving AI
