Skanska Building Operations In North Carolina And Virginia Welcomes Heather Askins Business Development Leader

Skanska, a leading global construction and development firm, announced Heather Askins as the Director of Business Development for its North Carolina and Virginia building operations. Based in Raleigh, Askins has more than a decade of experience in business development and professional engineering and has strong community ties with vast experience and knowledge in the AEC industry.

“Heather brings exceptional leadership skills, well established relationships and a stellar reputation that will only bolster our growth goals throughout the Triangle region and beyond,” said Bob Myer, vice president of business development.”

Prior to joining Skanska, Askins worked with Lynch Mykins, serving as All-In Director where she supported business development strategies in North Carolina and Virginia. In her role at Skanska, Askins will continue to elevate the trajectory of the company’s relationships throughout the Triangle region and beyond.

Askins is a graduate of North Carolina State University and is actively involved in NAIOP as a past president of the Developing Leaders board and participates in many other local organizations.
