DarrowEverett LLP, a full-service business law firm with offices in seven states, has appointed Chad J. Gottlieb as Chair of the firm’s Corporate & Business Transactions Practice Group, layering another leadership position into this talented M&A attorney’s growing role in firm operations.
Since becoming the firm’s Chief Growth Officer in 2022, Gottlieb has been instrumental in building a greater digital media presence that’s reached new audiences and clientele through content marketing. The firm’s attorneys published more than 70 thought-leadership articles in 2023, helping grow website traffic by more than 50 percent year over year. The firm’s social media following also grew more than 250 percent in that span.

Gottlieb, who joined the firm in 2016 and became a Partner three years later, has helped the firm grow and expand into markets in Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina and his home state of Florida. He focuses primarily on mergers & acquisitions (buy-side and sell-side), private equity, securities law, corporate law, intellectual property (trademark branding, clearance, and prosecution), and marketing and telemarketing compliance (including with respect to federal and state consumer protection laws).
