Coaster Fine Furniture renewed the lease of its sprawling 250,441-sq.- ft. showroom and distribution center at the Miramar Park of Commerce, the largest locally owned and managed business park in South Florida.
A leading fine furniture importer and distributor headquartered in Los Angeles, Coaster has been a tenant in the Miramar Park of Commerce, developed by Sunbeam Properties & Development, since relocating from Pompano Beach in 2001. Coaster initially leased 150,000 sq. ft. in the park.
“Originally, Coaster was focused on moving to Miami and ultimately decided that the Miramar Park of Commerce was the ideal location due to our easy access to all of South Florida’s major highways and cargo hubs,” said Peter “PJ” Apol, Director of Leasing and Marketing for Sunbeam Properties & Development. “Miramar Park of Commerce is one of Coaster’s nine national distribution centers, while also serving as a major business hub for South America and the Caribbean.”
In 2006, when Coaster needed to expand, Sunbeam completed a 250,441 sq. ft. build-to-suit distribution center and showroom for the company within the Park and Coaster relocated to its current location at 10700 Enterprise Way, Miramar, FL 33025.
“Over the years, we have consistently accommodated the growth needs of our tenants which is one of the cornerstones of our success,” Apol added. “We are proud of the many long-term relationships we have built with our valued tenants.”
