Mark A. Harmon and Erin N. Teske Joins Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi

Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi is pleased to announce that Mark A. Harmon and Erin N. Teske have joined the firm’s Litigation Group as Of Counsel and Member, respectively.

“We are so pleased to have Mark and Erin join CSG Law and add depth and experience to our litigation practice,” said Adam K. Derman, Chair of the Litigation Group and Hiring Partner. “These experienced and talented attorneys will collaborate closely with members of the firm’s Litigation, White Collar Defense & Investigations and Securities Enforcement Groups to expand the solutions provided to our clients.”

Mark and Erin’s arrival marks the latest in a series of significant moves for the firm’s Litigation Group from the addition of a new Securities Enforcement Group and former FINRA executives Christopher J. Kelly and Lisa M. Colone to the high-profile hiring of the Honorable John Michael Vazquez, former United States District Judge for the District of New Jersey.

Mark and Erin previously worked at a national law firm where they represented clients such as financial institutions, stock transfer agents, accounting firms, and a range of employers in complex disputes, investigations, litigations, examinations, and administrative and enforcement proceedings.

Mark and Erin both have extensive experience representing stock transfer agents, including advising clients with respect to compliance with securities laws, defending clams in judicial proceedings, and appearing before the Securities and Exchange Commission. They also represent international accounting firms against allegations of malpractice in their auditing engagements.

Mark earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and his B.A. from the University of Buffalo, and Erin earned her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Michigan.
