Wynnchirch Capital, a Rosemont, IL-based middle market private equity firm, closed its sixth private equity fund, Wynnchurch Capital Partners VI, at $3.5 Billion.
Fund VI investors include: state pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, insurance companies, corporate pension plans, investment advisors and family offices from around the globe.
Founded in 1999 and led by managing partners Chris O’Brien, and Frank Hayes, Wynnchurch Capital is a middle-market private equity investment firm whose strategy is to partner with middle market companies in the United States and Canada that possess the potential for substantial growth and profit improvement. The firm manages a number of private equity funds with $9.2 Billion of regulatory assets under management and specializes in recapitalizations, growth capital, management buyouts, corporate carve-outs, and restructurings.
