NDT Development, Place Projects and Wheelock Street Capital have confirmed three new signed leases for Nora’s commercial district along North Railroad Avenue. The operators include New York City’s The Garret Group, Juliana’s Pizza as well as West Palm Beach’s Celis Juice Bar and Cafe. With an anticipated opening date in early 2025, the development’s first phase comprises 25 ground-floor retail and food & beverage spaces and boutique service tenants as well as 55,000 square feet of second-floor Class-A office space.
“We’re excited to announce this series of tenants for the Nora District, bringing in new brands to the West Palm market as we build the depth of offerings,” said Francis X. Scire, head of leasing for Nora. “It’s an eclectic mix that represents Nora’s identity, offering experiences that are uniquely different but still highly complementary. From grab-and-go juices to a sophisticated night out, the district will have something suited to every mood and occasion. We’re looking forward to continuing to announce the complete roster.”
Nora will unveil the local favorite Celis Juice Bar and Café’s third location. Established in 2015, the brand has been serving a menu of freshly made juices, smoothies, acai bowls, and breakfast and lunch options, showcasing the area’s best local purveyors. With motivation, health, and wellness at its core, Celis also leads a weekly Run Club that connects fitness lovers in the local community.
Opening their first location outside of the northeast, The Garret Group is responsible for a series of design-forward but unpretentious food and beverage concepts, from retro diners to dive bars and taquerias including The Garret, Bandits Diner & Dive in the West Village, Rocco’s Sport & Recreation in Noho, Borrachito Taqueria in Boston and more. Located at 1035 North Railroad Avenue and spanning 4,746 square feet, the team is bringing their upscale sports bar concept, Garret Sports and Recreation, to West Palm Beach.
Award-winning pizza emporium, Juliana’s®, is also joining the Nora lineup. Co-founded by New York pizza legend, Patsy Grimaldi, this will be the brand’s first location outside of its DUMBO, Brooklyn locale. Known for its “old school” neighborhood vibe and global following, Juliana’s® was named the No. 1 pizzeria in the USA by Tripadvisor and will be serving its signature coal-fired pies along with several new menu items exclusive to its West Palm Beach home.
“There are so many pizza lovers out there—and so many styles to choose from,” says Juliana’s co-founder Matthew Grogan. “And everyone has their favorites. We are really excited to add our pies to the list of great pizza options here in South Florida. Those smoky, slightly charred, thin crust pies…just thinking about makes me hungry for a slice…or two!”
Additionally, Nora’s development team has recently launched the leasing of the first phase of its creative office spaces with the reveal of new virtual spec suite tours.
The neighborhood’s complete list of acclaimed culinary, wellness, and lifestyle retail concepts, including best-in-class, full-service fine dining operators, will continue to be announced. They will be neighboring the confirmed tenants which include Loco Taqueria & Oyster Bar, New York City’s H&H Bagels, Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, as well as boutique fitness brands Rumble and [solidcore]. Nora will also be home to a brand new 201-key boutique hotel developed in partnership with BD Hotels and Sean MacPherson, behind some of New York City’s most iconic hotels like The Bowery, Mercer, Chelsea Hotel and others.
