National home builder acquires nearly eight acres to develop 98 townhomes
PulteGroup, one of the nation’s largest home builders, has acquired a 7.9-acre development site in Martin County to build 98 affordably priced townhomes. The site is located just off I-95 at the SW Kanner Highway interchange, providing easy access for people who commute to work in northern Palm Beach County. Downtown Stuart, public beaches, nature preserves, and public parks are all within a few miles.
The Pulte Homes community, Camellia, will feature a pool, cabana, and a walking trail leading to the St. Lucie River. More details on the townhomes will be revealed later, but prices are expected to be in the mid $400s.
PulteGroup has been one of the most active builders in Martin County over the past few years. It recently completed the first phase of Highpointe, a 284 single-family home development on the west side of the Florida Turnpike. Phase two is expected to open Fall 2024. The builder also sold out Ocean Cove, a community with 80 townhomes located near downtown Stuart.
“We have been very pleased with the response we have received to our new-home developments in Martin County and looking forward to introducing buyers to our newest one in the area,” said Brent Baker, PulteGroup’s Southeast Florida Division President. “Camellia offers consumer-inspired townhome designs affordably priced in an accessible part of Martin County.”
Anyone interested in buying at Camellia can join the interest list at pulte.com/homes/florida/treasure-coast/stuart/camellia-211292. Sales are expected to start in early 2025.
PulteGroup’s Southeast Florida division builds homes from Broward County to Indian River County under the Pulte Homes, DiVosta and Del Webb brands. Home prices range from the $300s to over $5 million.
