The 73rd Annual Beaux Arts Festival Of Art Returns On January 13-14, 2024 To The University Of Miami Campus

The 73rd annual Beaux Arts Festival of Art is set to return January 13-14, 2024, bringing more than 200 juried fine art exhibitors to the beautiful University of Miami campus. Recognized as one of South Florida’s leading art shows, the festival attracts acclaimed artists from all over the country, and awards more than $20,000 in prizes to exhibiting artists. The two-day outdoor festival is hosted from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm in front of the Watsco Center, and admission to the festival is FREE thanks to the generous support of presenting sponsor UHealth Jackson Urgent Care.

A South Florida tradition bringing families together with art since 1952, the Beaux Arts Festival of Art draws more than 25,000 visitors each year offering artwork in a variety of mediums and price points. In addition to museum-quality fine art, the festival will feature live music, interactive art experiences for both children and adults, a marketplace featuring local vendors and fabulous dining – making this event ideal for art enthusiasts and families alike. The festival will also feature a beer and wine garden presented by Bay 13 Brewery & Kitchen, which will offer local brews and delicious wines for festival patrons to enjoy during the festival. Returning once again to the festival are two patron-favorites: The Children’s Art Park sponsored by UHealth Jackson Urgent Care where children will have the opportunity to create their own art, and The Family Entertainment Zone sponsored by TD Bank.

“We’re thrilled to uphold this tradition in our 73rd year showcasing incredible artwork in our community, while Coral Gables continues to thrive as a vibrant center of our city’s arts and culture scene,” said Cecilia Slesnick, Beaux Arts President 2023-2024. “We look forward to welcoming visitors throughout the weekend to enjoy top-tier quality art from more than 200 juried artists.”

Proceeds from the festival benefit the University of Miami’s Lowe Art Museum and Beaux Arts’ educational programs. For seven decades Beaux Arts has introduced children from underserved communities to the world of art, and encouraged art awareness and advancement through support of the Lowe Art Museum at the University of Miami.

Beaux Arts was founded in 1952 by a small group of women and has grown to an organization of nearly 100 active members and 350 associates with a common purpose, to increase art appreciation in the community and support the Lowe Art Museum. The festival continues to be 100% volunteer run, and is co-chaired this year by Callie Buck and Jordan Kever.

In addition to presenting sponsor UHealth Jackson Urgent Care, the 73rd annual Beaux Arts Festival of Art is generously sponsored by TD Bank, Bay 13 Brewery & Kitchen, Williamson Automotive Group, South Florida Integrative Medicine, Lowell International Realty, Guerra Financial Group, edding, Alexander Montessori School, EWM Realty, and Kiddos Magazine.

About Beaux Arts

Founded in 1952, Beaux Arts is a 100% volunteer organization comprised of nearly 100 women and more than 350 associates, whose purpose is to encourage an understanding and appreciation of the arts in South Florida through outreach programs and support of the Lowe Art Museum at the University of Miami. Through major fundraising initiatives such as the annual Beaux Arts Ball and Festival of Art on the University of Miami campus, the organization is the largest group financial donor to the museum. In 2014, the organization donated a gift of $1.5 million to the Lowe Art Museum, which enabled the creation of the endowed position of Beaux Arts Director and chief curator of the Lowe Art Museum, now held by Dr. Jill Deupi. Having won the “White Award,” Beaux Arts was recognized as the University of Miami’s most effective donor through its combined contribution of more than $7 million in funds to support the Lowe. Beaux Arts has hosted over 25,000 children at the Beaux Arts Art Camp and supported more than 5,000 students from the Miami-Dade public school system with its annual HandsOn! program. For more information, please visit https://beauxartsmiami.org.
