Hotel Revival Baltimore Welcomes Briana Payne As Director Of Impact

Hotel Revival Baltimore, an award-winning hotel recently added to the New Waterloo portfolio of properties, is pleased to welcome Briana “Bree” Payne as its new director of impact. Having most recently served in development, marketing and event-planning roles, Payne brings relationship-driven experience to the hotel team.

As director of impact, Payne manages Hotel Revival’s relationships with community-based entrepreneurs, partners who service the hotel with diverse specialties and individuals in need of support. She enhances the hotel’s mission to make lives better.

“I am absolutely thrilled to welcome Bree to our team, marking the start of an exciting chapter for the hotel. We provide exceptional, forward-thinking hospitality, and I am confident that Bree will exceed in drawing upon her wealth of experience to keep our focus on the community,” said Hotel Revival General Manager Ramond Sneed.

From its catering to every guest with the Zero Proof, Zero Judgement non-alcoholic beverage menu to supporting the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s Fusion Series as a collaborative partner, Hotel Revival is more than a place for visitors to rest their heads. Among her responsibilities as director of impact, Payne advances the impact-focused initiatives that draw new and returning voices to the hotel community and expand its reach beyond 14 floors.

Payne most recently worked as an events specialist at the Hanover-based TEKsystems, where she directed the marketing, logistics and communications around national events and activations. She is adept at relationship building and project management, weaving the two in her current role of forwarding Hotel Revival’s unique practice of Impact Hospitality.

“It is a privilege that my work includes strengthening the connection between Hotel Revival – already one of my favorite spots – with the businesses, visitors and neighbors that make up our community at any given moment,” said Payne. “All while promoting a mission-driven culture.”

Working alongside Payne is Brand Manager Chelsea Redding, who joined the team in July 2023.  Leveraging her most recent experience as the marketing and communications manager for Downtown Partnership of Baltimore, Redding and Payne collaborate to fulfill and maintain the cohesive, inspiring and socially conscious mission of Hotel Revival.

“Being the brand manager for Hotel Revival is an engaging and fluid experience,” said Redding, who is the first person to serve in the newly created role.

Payne received her bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College, and Redding received her bachelor’s degree from Stevenson University. Both are Baltimore residents.

Hotel Revival continues to prioritize being a space that is inclusive and welcoming to all. The hotel’s social impact efforts include curated programming and events, such as educational workshops, thought-provoking conversations, art pop-ups and spirit-free cocktail tastings. Being more than a hotel by partnering with local businesses, Revival engages in philanthropic efforts and assists the community wherever the need may be. Partnerships include those with Lor Tush and Black Acres Roastery. For more information on Revival’s community efforts, visit https://hotelrevivalbaltimore.com/.
