Free NAGMA Glazing Webinar Series for Architects, General Contractors, and Others Within the Construction Industry

The National Architectural Glass and Metal Association (NAGMA), in partnership with the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT), will offer in 2024 a free quarterly webinar series focusing on trends and issues in glazing. Webinar topics include electrochromic glazing, high-performance facades, the latest developments in sealants and other products related to building envelope performance, and the value of glazing certification programs. Webinars will last approximately one hour.

Webinar Session 1, “Electrochromic Glazing” will take place Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at 2:00 pm EST. The session will be presented by a representative of SageGlass®, a leading researcher and developer of smart window technology. Participants will gain a better understanding of how electrochromic glazing can be used to control solar heat gain, reduce glare and fading, and help achieve optimum energy performance.

This program will be followed by three additional sessions scheduled in April, July, and October. Webinars are designed for the architectural community but are open to glazing contractors, building envelope consultants, facility managers, and others interested in learning about glass and glazing products and issues. Programs are AIA approved and eligible participants may earn AIA/CES credit.

There is no charge to attend the NAGMA-sponsored programs, but space is limited. Register or sign up for webinar updates online at https://www.nagmassociation.org/webinars/.
