Finally: The PPA Made a Map of Philly’s Residential Permit Parking Zones

Redditors and civic technologists alike have been asking for it for years, and at long last, it’s here: an official, Philadelphia Parking Authority-approved map of Philly’s residential permit parking districts.

The simple, interactive map launched on Sept. 29 and has been viewed more than 55,000 times as of Thursday afternoon.

The map was made by the Planning & Analysis Division of the PPA’s On-Street Department, agency spokesperson Martin O’Rourke told via email, and will be updated monthly. (Of course, as the map’s disclaimer notes, drivers should check posted parking signs to ensure they’re following current rules.)
