General Dynamics Just Opened a New Innovation Center

As part of a months-long technology investment strategy, local company General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) just launched an innovation center in Falls Church, Virginia.

GDIT, a local arm of aerospace and defense company General Dynamics, opened the center at its headquarters in Northern Virginia. According to the company, this is only its latest expansion of research and development labs across the US supporting government missions.

“Our customers’ needs have evolved, and they require innovation much faster,” said Amy Gilliland, GDIT’s president, in a written statement. “We have increased investments in our Digital Consulting Practice and expanded R&D to ensure we remain at the forefront of technology advancements. This new innovation center will facilitate collaboration and accelerate solution development for agency missions.”
