Collaborative Art Studio Artishouse Opens for Members in Manhattan

Artishouse, a membership-based collaborative art studio, is launching for painters and sketch artists in New York’s Garment District. The company gives artists 24/7 access to studio space in Manhattan, while also providing them a central community to collaborate with other creatives and exhibit their work.

“The number one problem New York City artists face is lack of studio space,” founder Matthew Perlman said. “I experienced this issue myself during the pandemic, and I wanted to launch a community space that not only solves that problem, but also brings artists from all walks of life together.”

Artishouse is located in the heart of the Garment District. The co-working innovation offers members with various opportunities to create, network, and exhibit, including access to studio space and materials, and freedom to host exhibitions, complete with marketing and business consultation services to benefit their entrepreneurial efforts.

“The focus of Artishouse is community,” Perlman said. “We’re already seeing members start collaborating on projects because of a discussion they had while utilizing the space. The pandemic forced artists to try to paint alone in their small apartments, and Artishouse is finally providing them a space to come together.”

Memberships for Artishouse start at $395 per month. Members can choose from three different tiers depending on the amount of time they need to use the studio. You can learn more and sign up for a membership at www.artishousenyc.com.
