The Baltimore School for the Arts Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Deanna Gamber as its Director.

Her tenacious personality and zeal for supporting arts and education is a breath of fresh air. I look forward to working hand in hand with Deanna to move the vision and mission of BSA forward.”
Ms. Gamber has an extensive background in educational leadership and development. She served for over two decades at Garrison Forest School, taking on various significant roles such as Assistant Head of School for Advancement, Associate Head of School, and Director of Development. In these positions, she played a crucial role as the hub of the school’s administrative operations. Her responsibilities included leading fundraising efforts, advising the Head of School and board of trustees, and cultivating and building relationships across constituencies.
Before her tenure at Garrison Forest, Ms. Gamber held prominent positions in other prestigious Maryland institutions. She served as the Director of Development for The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore and as the Director of Major Gifts for Gilman School. Additionally, she worked as the Director of Alumni Relations & Director of Special Events for St. Paul’s School for Boys.
Ms. Gamber obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Political Science from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts.
