Morgan, Lewis & Bockius Partner Dana Baiocco Joins International Association Of Defense Counsel

The International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) has announced that Dana Baiocco, a partner at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has accepted an invitation to join the IADC, the preeminent invitation-only global legal organization for attorneys who represent corporate and insurance interests.

“I think becoming a member of the IADC is just one way – but an important way – to keep abreast of legal trends and developments while enjoying the perspectives of my longtime friends and colleagues,” Ms. Baiocco said.

Ms. Baiocco is a trial lawyer with a focus on consumer products, consumer goods and industrial products in state, federal and international venues. She also counsels on congressional inquiries, investigations, risk mitigation, compliance with regulatory and reporting obligations, quality control, safety programs, warranties, and product recalls. Recently, she served as a commissioner on the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

As a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Ms. Baiocco has served as chair (2009-2011) and zone representative (2005-2011) of the House of Delegates, a member of the Board of Governors (2009–2011), and co-chair of the Commission on Women in the Profession (2007-2009). She currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Duquesne University Thomas R. Kline School of Law and is a faculty member with the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, Continuing Legal Education. Previously, she served as a member of the Boston Bar Association MDL Committee (2016).

Ms. Baiocco received her J.D. (cum laude) from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University and her Bachelor of Science from Ohio University. She also holds a certificate from the MIT Sloan School of Management Executive Program.
