Hoar Construction Expands To West Florida

Hoar Construction’s Florida division announces today an increase to its footprint and the opening of a second office location in Tampa, Florida. Over the past 25 years, the company has established a solid reputation in Florida with its Orlando-based office across multiple sectors. This office in Tampa will be the company’s 10th office nationwide.

The new office will enable the company to better serve clients and projects within the Tampa and Sarasota area. Senior Vice President Michael Parks states, “Our clients’ needs drove us to West Florida. With an influx of recent work in the Sarasota and Tampa area, we knew it was in the best interests of ours and those we serve to have a permanent presence in the area, and we could not be more excited to be a part of this fast-growing region.”

Hoar Construction formally established an office in Florida in 1998, but work across the state dates to the 1960s. Initially building for large retail developers throughout the state, the business evolved to serve private clients within the cultural, entertainment and hospitality sectors and is presently building for healthcare systems and multifamily developers from Cordelia at the Quay in Sarasota to SeaView Apartments in South Daytona Beach and everywhere between.

Focus in the Tampa area began in 2021 when the company hired Matt Valentine as Project Executive to lead the sales efforts and grow relationships within the region. Matt’s long resume within the Tampa area will continue to guide the direction and growth of this new office.

“Tampa is home,” said Matt. “I am thrilled to be spearheading this growth of the Florida division and our company, as well as being a part of the growth in the area.”
