Transwestern Real Estate Services announces Sybil Freedman has joined the firm as Senior Managing Director of Project Management for the Mid-Atlantic region. An accomplished team leader and collaborative problem solver, Freedman will oversee a team of project management professionals to develop, implement and guide all facets of project services.
“Sybil is an experienced project manager and proven leader who exhibits exceptional business management, communication and relationship-building acumen,” said Heather Nevin, Transwestern’s Mid-Atlantic Chief Operating Officer. “We’re thrilled to have her on the Transwestern team to amplify the delivery of complex and innovative commercial real estate projects for our clients.”
Before joining Transwestern, Freedman was a Special Projects Manager at Williams & Connolly LLP, where she managed the design, construction and relocation of the firm to a 288,000-square-foot trophy office building in Washington. The project buildout included a 25-room conference center, two commercial kitchens, a coffee shop, locker rooms, and offices and workstations for over 700 employees. Previously, Freedman was a project management director at CBRE and Rand Construction. Her key clients included PwC, Bates White, Grant Thornton LLP and Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP.

Freedman is a certified Project Management Professional, LEED Accredited Professional and a member of the Construction Management Association of America. She received a bachelor’s degree in commerce and a master’s in management information systems from the University of Virginia.
