Arlington-based technology services provider Halfaker and Associates LLC announced Tuesday that Amanda Axsom has been promoted to chief development officer.
Axsom was most recently the executive vice president of business development at the company. In her new role, she will oversee intellectual property development, corporate growth and strategic capture efforts. During her time working with Halfaker, she led capture on key bids that have supported contract awards worth more than $1 billion, according to the company.
“Amanda’s contributions have matured our capabilities at the intersection of business, solution and IP development and will help position Halfaker for continued growth and scalability,” Halfaker President and CEO Dawn Halfaker said in a statement. “Her leadership in this expanded role will drive Halfaker’s ability to continue to deliver on our mission to improve the health, security and well-being of Americans.”
