UHY LLP and UHY Advisors Mid-Atlantic MD, Inc. announced the promotion of nine employees, including two senior managers. Claire Collins was promoted to Consulting Sr. Manager, and Amie Kahler was promoted to senior manager. Ms. Collins works in UHY’s Columbia, Md., office, while Ms. Kahler works in UHY’s Towson, Md., office.

Ms. Collins, a member of the Audit & Assurance Department, offers more than 30 years of hands-on professional experience in the private, nonprofit, and public sectors. Her skills and experience include executive-level program and project management and policy development, analysis and implementation, grants administration and coordination, and federal, state, and local government service delivery. Over the past three years, she has advised state and local government clients on CARES Act and ARPA, serving as a subject matter expert. She received a Master of Public Administration in Executive Management and Policy Analysis from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies from North Carolina Wesleyan College.
Ms. Kahler, a member of the Tax Department, specializes in tax planning for individuals and small business owners, plus bookkeeping and controller services for small businesses. She prepares and reviews tax returns for individuals and small businesses. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA). Ms. Kahler received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Towson University and is a licensed CPA in Maryland.
