Related Group Breaks Ground on Casamar Residences in Pompano Beach, Rapidly Approaches Sell-Out

The on-the-sand condominium sees robust demand, reporting over $293 million in sales to date

On May 23, Premier real estate developer, the Related Group (Related), broke ground on Pompano Beach’s newest beachside condominium, Casamar Residences. Set upon nearly 300 feet of pristine white sand, the boutique luxury property will house only 119 oceanfront condos with world-class designs by the award-winning Arquitectonica and The Rockwell Group. With construction overseen by Coastal Construction Group, completion is expected in 2025.

Casamar marks the second of Related’s developments in Pompano Beach, following the success of sister property, Solemar. Launched in March 2020 and now fully sold-out, the firm’s maiden Pompano Beach project helped establish the seaside village as one of South Florida’s most promising markets, setting up Casamar to be a resounding success in the process.

“We launched sales on Solemar days before the COVID pandemic shut the world down. While many developers took a step back, we doubled down knowing that we had something special on our hands,” said Nick Perez, President of the Related Group’s condominium division. “Thanks to that decision, Pompano Beach is now discussed in the same light as Fort Lauderdale and West Palm – it’s been really incredible. We look forward to continuing to support Pompano’s thoughtful progress through Casamar and subsequent projects.”

Set upon 283 feet of oceanfront, Casamar is Pompano Beach’s newest luxury condominium offering a boutique, on-the-water living experience unlike any other. The 21-story Casamar draws inspiration from the Atlantic Ocean’s turquoise waters to immerse residents in a tranquil, resort-like lifestyle.

The focus on life on the sand and sea extends to the wellness-forward amenity package, which features luxuries such as sunrise and sunset pools, a Promenade Lounge where residents and guests can relax and entertain, a state-of-the-art fitness center with his and her saunas, as well as several open-air lounges. Sports fans can enjoy the virtual reality golf simulator room, regulation-size pickleball court, as well as access to a variety of aquatic activities. Residents and guests will also enjoy personalized, 24/7 concierge services.

Floor plans start at $1.8 million, ranging from 1,000 to 3,900 square feet. Each unit comes equipped with private elevators opening directly into the residence and open layouts with stunning, floor-to-ceiling windows allowing for maximum natural light and endless views of Downtown Pompano, the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterways. Each turn-key residence also includes spacious master bathrooms and Chef’s kitchens designed with Italian cabinetry and Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances.

“Pompano Beach sits right in between South Florida’s major markets of Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach. It’s a hidden gem that gives residents access to everything this region has to offer, but at more attainable prices,” said Wendy Marks Pine, Sales Director for the Related Group. “What many thought was a short-term trend has become a full-blown movement. Make no mistake – Pompano Beach is here to stay.”

“We are excited to reach the first of many milestones for Casamar and look forward to delivering an exceptional building in keeping with the high standards set by this world-class development team,” said Sean Murphy, Co-President of Coastal Construction Group.
