Miramar Park Of Commerce Inks Leases With Multi-National Tenants Turner Construction Company And Wetherill Associates

The Miramar Park of Commerce, South Florida’s largest locally owned and managed business park, has welcomed two new multi-national tenants to the Park, Turner Construction Company and Wetherill Associates.

Turner Construction Company, one of Florida’s largest construction management firms and a leading North American-based, international construction services company, is relocating its Miami office and will occupy 14,608 sq. ft. of office and warehouse space in MPC-16A at 2902 Executive Way.

“Turner’s decision to relocate to the Park was a strategic one,” said Sunbeam Properties & Development Vice President Ryan Goggins. “We’re centrally located between Fort Lauderdale and Miami, with easy access to all major roadways, three international airports, Port Everglades and Port of Miami. The Park’s ideal location is critical to prospective tenants who are focused on maximizing their company’s operational efficiency.”

John Marshall of Jones Lang LaSalle represented Turner Construction in the transaction.

“The Park’s central location allows us to have easy access to clients throughout South Florida and beyond,” said Turner Construction Company General Manager & Vice President Chris Jahrling. “The Miramar Park of Commerce maintains a professional business environment, is exceptionally managed and is conveniently located, all of which is why we ultimately chose to relocate here.”

Wetherill Associates (WAI), a leading parts manufacturer for the automotive, heavy duty, agricultural and industrial, and power sports aftermarket, has been a building owner in the Miramar Park of Commerce for 9 years. The company recently took advantage of an opportunity to sell their building but was focused on remaining in the Park.

“The Miramar Park of Commerce has enjoyed a longstanding relationship with WAI, so when we were approached about their need for space, we worked to accommodate their space requirements quickly and efficiently,” Goggins said. “One of our most significant value propositions is the flexibility to meet the changing needs of companies like WAI.”

WAI will relocate to 11,936 sq. ft. of office and warehouse space in MPC-15, located at 2841 Corporate Way.

“We knew we wanted to stay in the Park, so we appreciate that Ryan and his team worked closely with us to accommodate our space needs and did so with the highest level of service,” said Wetherill Associates Chief Executive Officer Ryan Moul.

Representing the Park in both transactions were Ryan Goggins and Peter Apol of Sunbeam Properties, developer of the Park, and Jonathan Kingsley of Colliers.
