TRL11, an Irvine, CA-based manufacturer of motion video solutions and the supporting subsystems for aerospace applications, raised USD3M+ in Pre-Seed funding.
BoostVC led the round, with participation from Wonder Ventures, Anorak Ventures, Geek Ventures, Space Cadets, and several angel investors including Max Haot, founder of Launcher.
The company intends to use the funds for expansion of the team, leasing of a facility, and launching two prototype video payloads to Low Earth Orbit (LEO).
Led by CEO Nicol Verheem, TRL11 designs and manufactures full motion video solutions and the supporting subsystems for aerospace applications. The company was started in 2022 and launched prototypes to orbit in less than a year. TRL11 aims to bring some of the best video solutions and expertise from M&E into the nascent space market, targeting on-orbit applications such as mission confirmation, space domain awareness, and proximity operations like docking or debris removal.
