Chamblee Tap & Market Taps terra alma to Curate Food Hall

Three food stalls available to emerging brands

Excitement is brewing as Chamblee Tap & Market prepares to unveil its taproom and micro food hall, poised to become the newest hotspot in historic downtown Chamblee. Owners Jeff Kimmel and David Heymann have meticulously designed a space and experience that will captivate food and beer lovers alike.

After discovering the perfect location in downtown Chamblee, the team engaged the acclaimed Vickers Design Group to strike the perfect balance of modern yet casual design. Situated across the street from the green space in front of City Hall and the future Chamblee Town Center, Chamblee Tap & Market is strategically positioned to become the heartbeat of the area.

The taproom will be equipped with 20 taps pouring a unique selection of beer and wine, showcasing an array of out-of-market beers on tap sprinkled with local gems. “We’re on a quest for extraordinary beers and wines that defy the norms of the Atlanta market,” explained Kimmel. “Our beer selection will rotate, ensuring every visit offers something new to try.”

Leigh Heymann will head Sidecar Coffee, the smallest stall with a big punch of flavor. Sidecar will offer a variety of standard espresso drinks, including specialty and iced lattes. Drip coffee, cold brew, and teas round out the drink menu. The coffee shop will also serve a curated selection of small plates and bakery items, focusing on fresh and healthy offerings. With all the available seating (and plugs!), this is sure to be a workers’ hot spot.

Collaborating with the respected terra alma to curate the food hall, the market boasts three unique food stalls and a charming coffee shop. “We are very happy to be working with terra alma as we curate the food hall,” shared David Heymann.”Edie’s got her finger on the pulse of the Atlanta food scene, and we feel very fortunate to have her on our team.”

“The demand for places where people can relish outstanding food and revel in the company of good friends is soaring,” added Edie Weintraub, Founder of Terra Alma. “Chamblee provides the perfect canvas for this exceptional food hall, and I can’t wait to create a distinctive and exhilarating culinary offering.”

Anticipated to open in late fall 2023 or early winter 2024, the food hall will welcome guests seven days a week. Be prepared for additional surprises and events, as the venue will also offer a private event space.
