Luis Torres Joins Dentons as Partner

Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, announces today that Luis F. Torres joins its highly regarded Energy practice as a partner. Resident in the Washington, DC, office, Torres focuses on project finance and structured finance transactions.

Torres has more than 20 years of experience representing investment funds, global sponsors, commercial and multilateral lenders and sovereign entities in the structuring, development and financing of power, oil and gas, transport and other infrastructure projects in the US, Latin America and other emerging markets. In addition to project finance, he has significant experience with structured finance, capital markets and debt restructurings and workouts, which gives him flexibility in representing clients on a broad range of financial transactions. “Luis is a tremendous addition to our Energy practice and global sector,” said Clint Vince, chair of Dentons’ US Energy practice and co-chair of the Firm’s global energy sector. “His commitment to excellent service, unparalleled industry knowledge and energy project finance and transactional capability will greatly benefit our Energy client base.”
