Road To Responsibility To Host 35th Annual Gala On September 28th ; Tickets Available Now!

Save the date for Thursday, September 28th when Road to Responsibility (RTR; http://roadtoresponsibility.org), one of the region’s largest and most successful nonprofit organizations supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, will host its 35th Annual Gala  starting at 6 p.m. at Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy.

This year’s annual mission-driven event, with the theme Making Lives Better, will feature a cocktail reception, a mobile bidding auction and dinner – along with a special program highlighting RTR’s impact on the individuals they support and our community.

Returning as emcee for the evening will be Candy O’Terry, a popular radio broadcaster, podcaster, singer, songwriter, and speaker coach, who at last year’s Gala delighted the more than 250 business and civic leaders, community members, and friends and supporters of RTR who attended.

“The excitement is building for this momentous Gala – our 35th!” said Christopher T. White, Ed.D., President/CEO of Road to Responsibility. “Please join us on September 28th when we will share and celebrate the accomplishments RTR has made this past year and raise funds to advance our mission to provide the means, the opportunity, and the support necessary to allow individuals with disabilities to take their place as productive members of the community.”

Sponsorship opportunities and tickets are available now. Contact Erin Cohen at ECohen@rtrinc.org for more information or visit https://roadtoresponsibility.ejoinme.org/2023.

About Road to Responsibility, Inc.

Celebrating over 30 years of making lives better, Road to Responsibility, Inc. (RTR) was established in 1988 with the overarching belief that individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities deserve to have full, rich, and rewarding lives in the community, and therefore works to provide the means, the opportunity, and the support necessary to allow citizens with disabilities to take their place as productive members of the community. RTR offers residential, work/employment, day habilitation and other day supports to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. RTR supports individuals with very diverse needs, including those with significant challenges who would otherwise go unserved if not for RTR. It succeeds where other organizations often fail, through the use of an integrated clinical behavioral approach. This model has proven successful and yielded positive results for the organization and the individuals served.

Road to Responsibility offers services to almost all the towns and communities throughout the South Shore and South Coast of Massachusetts, operates 49 residences as well as co-operative and supportive living apartments, and manages nine day-service locations that focus on education, employment, and community enrichment.
