Connell Foley Attorney Joseph Megariotis Joins International Association Of Defense Counsel

The International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) has announced that Joseph C. Megariotis, of counsel at Connell Foley LLP in Newark, New Jersey, has accepted an invitation to join the IADC, the preeminent invitation-only global legal organization for attorneys who represent corporate and insurance interests.

“I look forward to building business and personal relationships within this group of influential professionals, all of whom command an exceptional reputation and advanced skills,” Mr. Megariotis said.

Mr. Megariotis focuses his practice on complex commercial disputes, including franchise and trademark litigation in the retail and hospitality sectors, and the defense of large exposure/catastrophic casualty events throughout the country.

Mr. Megariotis also is an active member of DRI, participating in the organization’s Litigation Skills and Retail and Hospitality committees.

Mr. Megariotis earned his J.D. from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School (formerly the Thomas M. Cooley Law School) and his Bachelor of Science (magna cum laude) from the Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University.
