Olyns, a San Jose, CA-based company which specializes in innovative recycling technologies, raised $4M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Vanedge Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the development of AI-driven technology and expand its dual recycling and media network.
Led by CEO Philip Stanger, Olyns operates in retail media and recycling. Its dual-purpose Cubes, located at the entrance of retailers, provide beverage container recycling to consumers and advertising to brands. Each RVM Cube holds more than 2200 containers and is capable of redirecting tons of recyclable material each year.
Olyns currently partners with The Coca-Cola Company, PepsiCo, and Mars Wrigley and is expanding its network of recycling Cubes in California, Georgia, and other US states.
