The Office Bar In Midtown Debuts New Menu For 2023

Located off West Peachtree Street in the lobby of the new Google-anchored 1105 West Peachtree, The Office Bar is debuting a menu curated by its recently appointed Executive Chef, Henry Tapia. Powered by a newly expanded kitchen and best-in-class culinary team, the menu is now available to the public for lunch and dinner as part of The Office Bar’s mission to provide Midtown with an ideal spot to catch a game, take a grab-and-go lunch or enjoy an evening nightcap.

The Office Bar is unique in that it’s managed by the hospitality experts at Epicurean Atlanta, the hotel in 1105 West Peachtree’s tri-tower mixed-use community. Epicurean Atlanta is known for its resort-level service and food-focused experiences. Chef Tapia, who oversees all culinary operations for Epicurean Atlanta, including The Office Bar, brings over 10 years of experience working in the finest hotel kitchens on both the East and West Coast. Prior to that, he spent a decade in the central region of Mexico, specifically Puebla, where he worked at his mother’s restaurant and cultivated a passion for cooking from the heart with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients – this same passion influenced his approach to The Office Bar menu.

“With an updated kitchen and menu, we are creating a distinctive dining experience within a largely undiscovered space in Midtown,” said Chef Tapia. “This busy urban district was craving a quick and easy lunchtime restaurant that doesn’t sacrifice quality and flavor. Our new menu – complete with upscale bar-food and fresh ingredients – is designed to fulfill that midday demand as well as offer a new dinner option and gameday spot.”

Focused on bringing the flavors and textures found in popular dishes from around the world to Midtown, this new selection of menu items will offer rotating weekly and seasonal dishes. Guests can choose from a plethora of light bite options to share alongside colleagues or while catching a game on the multiple 86” LED TVs — whether it’s a casual night out or a weekend gameday celebration.

Starters include butternut squash hummus (garden vegetable, toasted pepitas, extra virgin olive oil, pita bread), a slider sampler featuring short rib (romaine, Kansas BBQ sauce, buttermilk dressing), hot chicken(honey mustard glaze, pickles, cabbage slaw, ponzu mayo), a smashed burger (romaine, tomato, Vermont cheddar, pickles, house dressing) and fried curry cauliflower (homemade hot sauce, buttermilk dressing), to name a few. A variety of flatbreads are available as well, such as the farmer’s (orange ricotta mousse, woodland mushroom, red pepper, roasted corn) and buffalo chicken (buffalo sauce, blue cheese crumbles, mozzarella, grilled chicken), offering guests the choice of regular or cauliflower crust.

Other menu options feature elevated sports bar-inspired handhelds and finger foods.

A nod to the Epicurean brand’s inception between Mainsail Lodging & Development and the legendary Bern’s Steak House in Tampa, The Office Bar will serve the Homage to Bern’s Steak Sandwich (seared sirloin, steak sauce, onion jam, rosemary aioli, Swiss cheese, rustica ciabatta). Additional sandwiches include a smashed house burgerNashville hot fried chicken sandwich and a shrimp roll (piquillo pepper aioli, celery, cucumber, red onion, pickled fresno, brioche bun). Guests can order chicken wings with the choice of a unique sauce – a classic house made hot sauce, Korean BBQ, honey mustard glaze or lemongrass black pepper – with a side of buttermilk dressing, chipotle aioli and a celery and carrot salad.

Diners looking for lighter options can choose from salads and bowls, including The Office Bar’s chopped salad (mixed lettuce, cherry tomato, pickled onion, avocado, bacon, braised chicken, hard-boiled egg, tarragon vinaigrette), quinoa tabbouleh (kale, cherry tomato, red pepper, cucumber, fresh herbs, lemon vinaigrette) and a spicy tuna poke (seasoned rice, cucumber, carrot, pickled onion, edamame, roasted corn, wakame, avocado, pineapple, pickled fresno, ponzu mayo).

Guests can perfectly pair each meal with a beverage of their choice with vast beer, wine and whiskey selections and craft cocktails such as Conniption Fit (Conniption Kinship Gin, crème de violette, maraschino, lime juice, foaming bitters), Cutting Edge (Jefferson’s Bourbon, Suze, lavender, lemon), Montemarg (Don Fulano Tequila, Amaro Montenegro, Cointreau, lime juice) and more.

“These kitchen renovations include state of the art appliances, which allow our team to turn out our delicious dishes quickly and efficiently,” said Alex Amato, general manager of Epicurean Atlanta. “The goal has always been to be a neighborhood staple for lunch, happy hours, private events and gamedays while providing excellent service in a beautiful environment, and these new additions and upgrades now allow us to do so.”

Designed by architecture firm Rule Joy Trammell and Rubio, the restaurant draws visitors in with its award-winning design featuring rich wood tones, luxurious textures and custom lighting to offer a cozy reprieve during a lunch break, after hours or on the weekends.
