Boca Helping Hands Plans 2023 MONOPOLY Event & Casino Night, Following The Success Of Its Kickoff MONOPOLY Tournament Of Champions

Supporters of Boca Helping Hands (BHH) will pass go at the 2023 MONOPOLY® Event & Casino Night on Saturday, April 15 at 6 p.m. at The Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club, 2425 West Maya Palm Drive, Boca Raton. Guests will enjoy music, auctions, casino gaming, cocktails, dinner and, of course, Monopoly®.

Event co-chairs for Monopoly® Event & Casino Night are Rochelle LeCavalier and Zoe Lanham.

Committee members include Aisha Ali, Yoli Brennan, Susan Brockway, Melanie De Vito, Robin Deyo, David Dweck, Justin Ely, Gloria Hosh, Reagan Heildelberg, Olivia Hollaus, Christina Karas, Mark Malis, Holly Meehan, Janean Mileusnic, Lauren Muñoz, Yvette Palermo, Jesse Price, Linda Speilman, Anthea Walker and Yasmine Zyne-Coleman.

Boca Helping Hands’ Board President Gary Peters, a two-time National MONOPOLY® Champion, will serve as the MONOPOLY® tournament mediator. “This event is so much fun and unique,” Peters said. “Think about how you loved Monopoly as a kid. This event is a way to enjoy the game and give back to our community.”

The official kickoff event for the MONOPOLY® Event fundraiser, Boca Helping Hands’ inaugural Tournament of Champions, was held on March 2 at The Addison. Sponsored by The Addison, 50 VIP guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while watching five former Monopoly® Event champions battle it out for bragging rights and their name on the coveted Tournament of Champions Trophy. George Barbar was the evening’s winner; the winner of this year’s MONOPOLY® Event tournament will earn an invitation to compete against other former champions at next year’s VIP kickoff event.

Proceeds from the event will help assist 27,000 people in the South Florida community through BHH’s various programs, including hunger relief, job training, healthcare, emergency financial assistance, childcare, and weekend meals for Palm Beach County schoolchildren.
