Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance Team Hosts Winter Coat Drive For Cradles To Crayons

Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance, a South Shore practice specializing in unique programs that provide comprehensive treatment in orthopedic, spine and sports medicine specialties, recently held a winter coat drive for the local charitable organization Cradles to Crayons.

All thirteen of Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance clinics across the South Shore participated in the coat drive and together they filled twenty boxes with warm winter coats for children across Massachusetts. Peak has partnered with Cradles to Crayons over the years filling backpacks with school supplies and providing additional support.

Cradles to Crayons launched in Boston in 2002 and currently has operations in Boston, Philadelphia, and Chicago. The nonprofit provides children from birth through age 12 living in homeless or low-income situations with the essential items they need to thrive—at home, at school, and at play. They supply these items free of charge by engaging and connecting communities. Cradles to Crayons collects new and high-quality used children’s goods and engages thousands of youth and adults in volunteer activities each year on behalf of local children in need. “Our team really worked at making this important drive successful,” said Eric Edelman, PT and owner of Peak Physical Therapy and Sports Performance. “Our staff really embraces being a part of the community and giving back in every way that they can. They volunteer their time and talents and they pulled together to make this event a great success.”
