The Florida blood supply is in critical need. All eight blood types are needed, but the blood bank’s supply of O+ and O- blood is especially low. Type O blood is the most common and highest in demand.
All donors will receive a $20 e-gift card, OneBlood St. Patrick’s Day t-shirt and a wellness checkup including blood pressure, temperature, iron count, pulse and cholesterol screening. Refreshments will be provided. Donors must bring a valid ID with the person’s first and last name.

Additionally, OneBlood recently launched a new program called Message My Donor. Recipients of blood donations are now given the option to send their donor an anonymous message to express their gratitude. Each donated unit of blood is delivered to local hospitals with Message My Donor tags attached. Patients can visit the Message My Donor website to type an anonymous message. The donor will receive the message via an email from OneBlood.
