Zumpano Patricios Announces Opening of Second New York City Office

Mark C. Fang

Zumpano Patricios is pleased to announce the opening of its second New York City Office, which will operate in the Borough of Queens.  The Queens Office, located at 38-08 Union Street, Suite 2H-B in Flushing, will be led by seasoned litigator, Mark C. Fang.  As Partner-In-Charge, Mark will become the first Asian American to lead an office of the firm.

Zumpano Patricios successfully established its first location in the New York City market in 2019 with its Manhattan Office (Zumpano Patricios & Popok).  Mark will report to Michael S. Popok, who will serve as Executive Managing Director of both New York City Offices.

“Among all of New York City’s boroughs, Queens represents the most diverse economy in New York and is the gateway to a vibrant Asian-American business community,” said Popok.  “I can think of no finer person to lead our new Queens Office than our Partner-In-Charge, Mark C. Fang.”

Mark brings nearly 30 years of legal experience, and has served our nation as a U.S. Lieutenant Colonel in the Judge Advocate General Corps of the United States Army Reserve. He is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and is well-versed in a wide range of business, insurance, real  estate and labor and employment matters.

Mark’s body of work, also includes having served as New York State Assistant Attorney General, Assistant District Attorney, and in private practice representing clients throughout the Borough of Queens.

The opening of the Queens Office also marks a milestone for Zumpano Patricios Managing Shareholder and President, Joseph Zumpano. “As the firm readies to celebrate its 20th anniversary in September, it is quite moving to me that three law school classmates who met at Georgetown almost 32 years ago remain close and now lead offices of the firm. I am proud to be counted among those classmates. Mark will achieve great things at Zumpano Patricios.”

The Queens Office will be home to the firm’s Asian Pacific Practice, and will focus on commerce inbound and existing Asian Pacific commerce in and involving the United States.

Zumpano Patricios has grown to become a national law firm with offices in Chicago, Las Vegas, Miami, New York City (Manhattan), New York City (Queens), and Salt Lake City.
