The Braintree Chamber of Commerce, an affiliate of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce, has elected Denver Gibbs, president and CEO of Gibbs Software Solutions, as chairperson of the board.
As such, he will help shape the agenda for the chamber, working closely with other members of the board.
In this leadership capacity Gibbs will focus on advocating for Braintree businesses, expanding the chamber’s community awareness, increasing its membership, and growing business relationships through networking avenues.
Gibbs is known as “a coder, humanist, and entrepreneur with a passion for helping people and technology work better together.” Since launching Gibbs Software Solutions in 2014, Gibbs and his team have engineered custom software for small businesses and nonprofit organizations throughout New England.
In addition to his post as chair of the Braintree Chamber of Commerce, he is past president of the Rotary Club of Braintree, a trustee of the South Shore Economic Development Committee, and sits on the board of South Shore Stars, a family and youth services nonprofit organization.
Gibbs resides in Braintree with his wife, Nicole, their two boys, and goldendoodle. When unplugged from the digital world, he enjoys fly fishing, gardening, and vacationing in Maine and Cape Cod.
