TAMPA, Fla. – GrayRobinson today announced Vanessa T. Steinerts has joined its Public Finance Team as Of Counsel. Based in the Tampa office, Steinerts will be a part of the firm’s Public Finance Team that was recently ranked No. 1 in Florida by Refinitiv for the volume of issuer disclosure counsel transactions.
Steinerts is well versed in local government law, pulling from her experience representing and guiding governmental entities such as cities, improvement districts, and community development districts. She has served as counsel for numerous special districts throughout Florida, the City of Coral Springs Community Redevelopment Agency, the City of Tamarac, and as general counsel to the Broward County Clerk of Courts. Steinerts is a knowledgeable counselor relating to creating special districts around the state, performing due diligence for real estate transactions, and advising governmental entities on complex legal matters, policies, and procedures for daily operations relating to compliance with specific laws, rules, and regulations.
Steinerts received her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of South Florida. She is admitted to practice in Florida and the U.S. Supreme Court. Steinerts is a part of the National Association of Bond Lawyers, the Government Lawyer Section of The Florida Bar, and is rated AV Preeminent® by Martindale-Hubbell.
