RDC Promotes Bob Lisauskas, AIA, LEED AP, To Principal

Architecture, planning, and interiors firm, RDC has appointed Robert Lisauskas, AIA, LEED AP, to Principal, announced Mitra Esfandiari, AIA, Partner with RDC. Based in RDC’s Long Beach headquarters, Lisauskas is focused on regional and international multifamily and mixed-use projects that include master planning, mixed-use low rise and high-rise residential towers, workplace, and the re-imagining of shopping and entertainment centers.

Esfandiari said, “Bob Lisauskas is a talented architect who excels with ideation for forward-looking designs that address the ways we will be living in the future. He inspires confidence with clients and staff members alike and is a great fit for RDC clients who are increasingly focused on mixed-use development.”

Lisauskas brings more than two decades of experience working on large-scale projects across the world, most notably the Four Seasons Private Residences at 850 Hill Street and 888 Grand Hope Lofts in Los Angeles; The Village at San Antonio Center, Mountainview, CA; The Eli and Edythe Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard University; Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Engineering; the Fan Pier South Boston Waterfront Masterplan; Miami International Airport, Concourse J; adaptive re-use of Soldier Field Stadium; and Emaar Square in Cairo, Egypt.

Lisauskas is a licensed architect in California, a LEED accredited professional, and an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He has served as a board member of the Silver Lake Urban Design Committee for the past eight years and acts as a student mentor at The University of Southern California (USC). He also previously acted as a member of the Boston Architectural College Design Studio faculty. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Catholic University, Washington DC, and a master’s degree in city design, planning, and policy from SCI-Arc, Los Angeles, CA.
