Burns & Levinson Attorneys Michael DeIulis And Kaitlin Spurling Selected For Boston’s Future Leaders Program

Burns & Levinson announced today that Michael DeIulis and Kaitlin Spurling have been selected for the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Boston’s Future Leaders (BFL) Program, which provides participants with the skills, experiences and connections needed to lead Boston and the region into a more equitable and innovative future. DeIulis and Spurling are among 80 emerging and promising leaders chosen for this year’s 2023 class.

During the nine-month long program, the Boston Chamber and Harvard Business School will provide the next generation of leaders with a socially conscious and civically engaged leadership toolkit blending academic content, practical application and networking.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for Michael and Kaitlin, and we are very proud that they were accepted into this year’s prestigious program,” said Paul Mastrocola, Co-Managing Partner of Burns & Levinson. “They are both extremely talented young lawyers, and we are excited for their continued development as leaders at our firm, in the legal profession and in the broader Boston region.”

DeIulis is an associate in the firm’s Business Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group, where he focuses his practice on business disputes involving complex commercial, business tort, contract, employment, and securities claims. He was named a 2022 “Client Service All-Stars” by BTI Consulting Group, and was singled out as one of 25 “Client Service Super All-Stars” who were recognized by more than one client. DeIulis received his J.D. from Boston College Law School and his B.A. from Boston College.

Spurling is an associate in the firm’s Securities & Capital Markets, Middle-Market M&A and Private Equity, and VC & Emerging Companies Groups, where she focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, emerging companies, venture capital, and private equity matters. She has represented clients on both the buy and sell-side of complex corporate transactions such as capital raises, equity financing, asset sales, and stock purchases. She received her J.D., cum laude, from New England Law and her B.A. from Harvard University.
