“When selecting an honoree for the Irving Eckhardt Mitzvah Society, many factors are brought into consideration. The answer this year was simple. Bill Miller! Bill checked all the boxes,” said PAC Chair Bryan Drowos.

A Philadelphia-area native, Miller makes his home in Boca Raton with his wife, Tanya, and their children, Romy 23, and Ben, 20.

The Mitzvah Society recognizes professionals who worked with their clients to establish planned gifts on behalf of the Jewish community.

“Without the hard work of the Mitzvah Society members assisting your clients to make legacy gifts to the foundation, we would not be here today,” Drowos said.

Support for the Mitzvah Society impacts efforts across the Federation.

“Whether it be a grant to help students with their academic expenses or one of the many annual campaign endowments, including Pace and Endowed Lion gifts that ensure our future, the advice and guidance that you give to your clients help make all of this happen,” Drowos said.
