Winston & Strawn’s Dallas Associate Dion J. Robbins Selected to Participate in Toyota’s Inaugural Counsel in Motion Program

Winston & Strawn Associate Dion Robbins was selected to participate in Toyota’s first Counsel in Motion Program. This highly selective initiative empowers senior associates who are underrepresented in the legal industry with tools, opportunities, and relationships that they can leverage throughout their careers.

Over the course of five months, participants completed a series of programs that cultivated business insight, business and professional development skills, and mentorship opportunities. Other key aspects of the program included a hackathon on diversity, equity, and inclusion topics, volunteer activities, and local networking events.

Dion is a litigation associate in the firm’s Dallas office and focuses his practice on complex civil litigation, regulatory enforcement actions, and white collar defense and investigations.

Since joining the firm he has gained extensive experience in a wide array of complex disputes, including False Claims Act defense and qui tam actions, insurance coverage matters, and employment and business disputes. Dion also has significant experience representing high-profile corporations and individuals in white collar defense matters and internal investigations.

Prior to joining the firm, Dion served as a law clerk to the Honorable Sam A. Lindsay of the Northern District of Texas. Prior to that, he worked as a judicial extern to the Honorable Timothy C. Batten of the Northern District of Georgia and the Honorable Emmet G. Sullivan of the District of Columbia. Through his clerkships, Dion gained extensive experience across a variety of civil litigation and criminal matters.
