SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–John Hartman, Chief Investment Officer at CaliberCos a fully integrated alternative asset manager and investment sponsor, has been named to the Board of Directors for Whispering Hope Ranch Foundation. Located in Payson, Ariz., Whispering Hope is a camp facility that provides children who have special needs with a place to do things they never thought possible, where disabilities are the norm, and a place of acceptance and respect.
Hartman will serve on Whispering Hope’s development group where he will help spearhead fundraising efforts for the organization.

At Whispering Hope, adapted traditional camp activities, including archery, arts and crafts and sports, are blended with animal interactions and equine-facilitated programs to create an inclusive atmosphere for everyone. Whispering Hope sits on a 45-acre ranch that was designed and built specifically to accommodate children with special needs. Campers are able to enjoy specially designed equipment like adapted saddles used with a wheelchair mounting ramp, a splash pad with aquatic wheelchairs, wheelchair swings, and more. The camp facility was designed in collaboration with Arizona State University’s College of Architecture & Environmental Design, and Phase 1 construction of the Camp Village was completed in 2005. The camp can accommodate up to 164 campers per session.
