Pulte Homes, one of the nation’s largest homebuilders, has started sales at Cassia Commons, a new, affordably priced townhome community in Lauderdale Lakes. The 44-home gated development is located between the Florida Turnpike and I-95 bordered by NW 30th Street to the north, NW 33rd Ave to the west, and Somerset Drive to the east. It is next door to Cassia Estates, another Pulte Homes community which is approaching sell out.
Cassia Commons offers two floor plans, both with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The Cobalt, at 1,547 square feet, has a 2-car garage, while the Latitude is a bit larger at 1,555 square feet with a 1-car garage. Both plans are designed with well-appointed kitchens, open gathering areas, spacious owners’ suites, and come with impact windows. Prices start in the mid $400s.
“Cassia Commons is ideal for entry-level buyers who desire to own a new home, without a lot of additional costs and upkeep they might get with an older resale home in the same price range,” said Brent Baker, PulteGroup’s Southeast Florida Division President. “And it’s centrally located to major highways, with short drives to Downtown Fort Lauderdale and the beaches.”
Buyers at Cassia Commons can expect relatively low homeowners’ association fees and no community development (CDD) fees. Amenities include a tot lot and a walking trail.
