Business for the Arts of Broward Closes Out 2022 With Successful Second Annual Art + Somm

Art-lovers from all over South Florida gathered at MAD in Dania Beach to enjoy an intimate evening with relaxing jazz music, a delicious food and wine tasting, spectacular artwork and a special artist encounter with artist William Braemar during the Second Annual Art + Somm, presented by BBI and hosted by Business for the Arts of Broward (BFA).

Art + Somm raised $70,000 to benefit BFA’s Endowed Fund for the Arts at the Community Foundation of Broward. Established in 2021, this fund aims to strengthen the support for arts and cultural experiences in Broward County and propel the growing community toward success in the new year and beyond.

“The arts are such a vital part of our community, yet only five percent of all charitable giving in Broward goes toward supporting the arts. Creating this endowed charitable fund demonstrates bold leadership and establishes a sustainable source of support for the arts in Broward that will last forever,” said Community Foundation of Broward President/CEO Jennifer O’Flannery Anderson, Ph.D. “Seeing businesses in Broward come together demonstrates the true value and impact the arts bring,” added O’Flannery Anderson.
