Holy Cross Health Partners With Fort Lauderdale FC Youth Soccer Club For A Holiday Toy Drive

Holy Cross Health’s Community Health and Well-Being department partnered with Fort Lauderdale FC Youth Soccer Club for a toy drive to spread holiday cheer to children living at or below the federal poverty level.

Donations included books, puzzles, early childhood learning toys and more. The children were all patients of Holy Cross Health’s physical, occupational and speech therapy department, health clinic and students at Holy Cross partner early learning centers.

“Many times these children range in age from infancy to 12 years old, living in households with a single mom who may work more than one job,” said Kim Saiswick, VP Community Health & Well-Being at Holy Cross Health. “We appreciate the efforts of the soccer club in organizing the toy drive. They really made the holiday season special for so many children.”
