Miller Construction Company, a statewide, privately-held construction firm, has broken ground on a multi-warehouse project for Dalfen Industrial LLC. A total of 318,000 square feet Class A industrial product is being constructed at Lake Park Industrial and Ranch House Industrial in West Palm Beach. Both locations have convenient, statewide distribution channels.
“We are excited to partner with Dalfen Industrial for the first time and are eager to deliver two state-of-the-art warehouses to the market,” said Brian Sudduth, President of Miller Construction. “Florida’s need for industrial remains strong and we hope to have an ongoing relationship with Dalfen on future projects.”
The Lake Park Industrial building at 1100 Old Dixie Highway will cover 184,880 square feet. The interior will have 42-foot-by-54-foot column spacing and 32-foot, clear-height ceilings. The tilt-wall warehouse will be built with structural steel and joists, deck framing and TPO roofing. The warehouse is designed with 40 dock doors that have 10-foot clearances. During preconstruction, Miller’s team assessed the land and recommended a site subcontractor relocate soil to the building pad.
The Ranch House Industrial at 2850 Ranch House Road will span 133,075 square feet. It will be equipped with 38-foot-by-54-foot column spacing, 32-foot clear-height ceilings and 26 dock doors with 10-foot clearances. The tilt-wall warehouse will be constructed with structural steel and joists, deck framing and TPO roofing.
“Miller Construction brings a wealth of local knowledge and experience to these projects, streamlining the planning process from permitting to procurement,” said Dalfen Director of Development and Construction Tyler McElroy. “We are happy to partner with such professionals and are eager to deliver future tenants two Class A warehouse options in the growing West Palm Beach community.”
Both warehouses will give distribution, logistics and e-commerce tenants quick access to Florida’s Turnpike, Interstate 95 and U.S. 1. Miller is scheduled to deliver the buildings in the first half of this year.
The project team includes IBI Group’s RLC Architects, Puga & Associates, Inc. (MEP), DDA Engineers (structural) and Kimley Horn & Associates (civil).
