Tompkins Names Harry Ciavarella Commercial Banking Regional Manager

Expanding its commercial lending team, Tompkins Community Bank has appointed Harry Ciavarella to commercial banking regional manager. With more than 22 years of experience in the field, Ciavarella most recently served as senior vice president, corporate banking and middle market, of M&T Bank. In his new role, Ciavarella will lead Tompkins’ expansion efforts into high-growth emerging markets for its commercial lending division.

A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Ciavarella currently serves on the boards of the Lehigh Valley Health Network, Pottsville Area School District and Schuylkill County Chamber of Commerce in addition to his position on the advisory council of the Greater Reading Area Chamber Family Business Alliance. He lives in Pottsville with his wife, Elizabeth, and three children.
