Dreamscape Learn Raises $20M In Series A

Dreamscope Learn, a Los Angeles, CA-based company developing learning experiences focused on pedagogy with the cinematic storytelling, raised $20M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Bold Capital Partners, GSV Ventures, Verizon Ventures, and Cengage Group. GSV Ventures managing partner Deborah Quazzo will serve on the board of Dreamscape.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth and expand operations.

Built in collaboration with Arizona State University (ASU), Dreamscape Learn develops immersive learning experiences that blend innovative pedagogy with cinematic storytelling. Through deep collaboration with ASU faculty, Dreamscape has developed both VR-enabled biology courseware and a platform for instructor-led experiences that allow faculty to conduct class from any imaginable location relevant to their class’s area of study.

The company was founded by Walter Parkes.
