Alpha Graphics Purchases Redstart Creative

Two Powerful Baltimore Women-Owned Businesses Combine

Baltimore’s home grown, Alpha Graphics, Inc. and its President, Christine Walsh, announce the acquisition of Redstart Creative, LLC, another Baltimore women-owned business.  As a division of Alpha, Redstart will have the ability to better serve existing clients and offer a deeper breadth of integrated services.  Both companies will retain their clients, offices and key personnel, including Redstart’s founder, Rebecca Teaff who will remain as an executive manager, strategic planner, and client liaison.  For more information about Alpha Graphics, Inc, visit https://www.alpha-graphics.net/ and for more information about Redstart Creative, visit https://www.redstartcreative.com/.

Alpha Graphics is well known in the Baltimore arts community and has been doing custom printing, design and graphic work for 50 years.  Their clients include The Johns Hopkins University and Hospital, Baltimore City, Maryland Department of Health, Maryland Live, the Smithsonian Institutions, among others.  Its owner, Christine Walsh, is well-known in the print industry and among the Baltimore business community where she is a huge supporter of women and women-owned businesses and is the founder of B’More Cake and Whiskey.  Redstart Creative and its founder, Rebecca Teaff, have provided digital marketing, brand messaging and website design to commercial clients as well as nonprofits who are empowering positive change in the world for over 13 years.

When asked about why she wanted to acquire Redstart, Christine explained “When Rebecca and I started talking about the possibilities, it was hard to ignore the synergy that we had in terms of our approaches to business, our dedication to our clients and our support of Baltimore, nonprofits and women-based businesses.  Individually, our businesses were great but together make a fantastic team which will conquer so much more in helping our clients, women and Baltimore.”

Ms. Teaff, Redstart’s founder and chief visionary agreed and explained “I founded Redstart to make a real impact among those who were working for positive change in the world but leading an organization also means constantly evaluating when you need to grow. In this case, it was time and now there is a new leader at the helm, allowing me to get back to my roots of building relationships, working directly with clients and helping them get done what they need most urgently. We both graduated from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business program and are also both certified minority-owned businesses. We have so much in common that this was an obvious path/decision and one that made both of our companies stronger together.”
