Cheese Tech Company Armored Fresh Invested $125K to Expand its NoVa Presence

As we dig deeper into the new year, an internationally reaching cheese tech company is looking to grow its domestic presence — starting with its Northern Virginia HQ.

South Korea’s Armored Fresh, formerly Yangyoo, announced today plans to invest $125,000 into expanding its US headquarters in Fairfax County. The company will add 27 new roles (largely in sales and marketing) ahead of growth plans for 2023.

The company developed almond milk-based cheeses that it’s looking to commercialize worldwide. The company is headquartered in McLean with an additional location in Seoul, South Korea. But this expansion is key to achieving some of the company’s 2023 goals, CEO Andrew Yu said.
