Susie Lynch Joins Cristo Rey Jesuit High School as Chief Advancement Officer

Cristo Rey Jesuit High School is excited to welcome Susie Lynch as its new Chief Advancement Officer.

As Chief Advancement Officer Susie will serve as a key member of Cristo Rey’s leadership team and oversee Cristo Rey Jesuit High School’s fundraising programs including annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, foundations relations, and events.

Susie joins Cristo Rey with an impressive 20 years of experience in advancement—most recently, from a 10-year tenure as a development officer in the Office of Institutional Giving at University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) where she played a key role in elevating UMBC’s alumni giving.

As someone who has a deeply personal connection to Jesuit education and supporting students, Susie is eager to join Cristo Rey Jesuit in its mission to prepare students to succeed in college, career, and life.

“I have supported the development efforts of many organizations in my 20 years,” says Susie, “and working to advance educational opportunities for youth is what I find most impactful. “There is nothing more rewarding than playing a small role in a student’s academic success and subsequent employment prospects,” says Lynch.

“I am excited to announce Susie as Cristo Rey Jesuit’s Chief Advancement Officer. Her talents and values will be a great fit at CRJ, joining a mission-driven team who believes that our scholars are the future leaders of Baltimore and beyond,” says Cristo Rey Jesuit High School President Dr. Bill Heiser, Ed.D.

Susie’s first day at Cristo Rey will be Wednesday, January 11.
