EnviroSpark Raises $15M In Total Funding

EnviroSpark, an Atlanta, GA-based electric vehicle (EV) charging company, raised $15M in funding.

The round was led by Ultra Capital, with participation from Frank Blake, Tim Tassopoulos, Mark Bonfigli, Dave Stockert, and Paul Bowers.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its services and increase its employee headcount by nearly four times.

Led by CEO Aaron Luque, EnviroSpark provides design, installation and operation of EV charging solutions. A minority-owned business, the company partners with property owners, utilities, nonprofits and governments to provide turnkey EV infrastructure solutions where people live and work, making the shift to electric practical for more consumers. The company, which is now responsible for the installation of more than 5,800 charging ports, was recently awarded a federal government contract to design and install EV charging stations at federal agency locations throughout the Southeastern U.S. as part of a larger nationwide effort to expand EV infrastructure. The contract, which includes a $500 million dollar budget for the region, came from the General Services Administration (GSA).
